Erin Hoefler’s practice is focused on the defense of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice actions. She also represents healthcare professionals in disciplinary matters before the boards that license them and provides counsel to various healthcare entities. Erin is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and in theCommonwealth of Massachusetts, in both state and federal courts.
Erin was recently recognized as a “New England Rising Star” in the Professional Liability Defense category for 2023, as published by New England Super Lawyers. She also presents on various risk-related topics before local organizations.

Prior to joining Adler Cohen, Erin spent six years working for a mid-sized insurance defense firm, where she also specialized in medical malpractice defense. Before that, she operated her own general practice firm.
Erin attended Marist College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law | Boston. During law school Erin served as a judicial intern for Judge Robert C. Cosgrove in the Suffolk Superior Court.
